Communicating Mitchell Institute as one of the country's leading education and health policy think tanks
Victoria University (VU) established Mitchell Institute in 2013 as an independent think tank that focuses on health and education policies to improve the education opportunities for young Australians. The requirement for establishing Mitchell Institute as their own identity had risen, and thus this project came to fruition.
Victoria University wanted to establish Mitchell Institute as an independent entity to Victoria University, whilst acknowledging its association. All Mitchell Institute content, including a blog was then housed on a section of the Victoria University website, however it was imperative that a separate website be created for not only distinguishing themselves, but also for having better functionality with a focus on customer management.
The new website needed to be WCAG AA compliant for accessibility, be SEO optimised and integrate with Salesforce CRM for event bookings and e-news subscriptions.
