NASCA is an all indigenous not-for-profit started in 1995 by David Liddiard, Ngarabal man, and Rugby League champion. Knowing of the opportunities that could be created through sports and the significant role sports played in improving the well-being of Indigenous people, the National Aboriginal Sports Corporation Australia (NASCA) was born.

These days, NASCA’s programs have shifted significantly from sports, to education and Culture, and the organisation is now known simply as ‘NASCA’: thereby honouring our past mission, while reflecting the shift towards our three pillars of Culture, Education, and Community.
